Crashes horribly, mac over heats, etc. known issues, non platonic for a professional software that has been released to the public. Other than part ability bug with systems that it's mean't to support, VDJ viii is wonderful. Would be nice to exist able to utilize it permanently though.

VDJ8 didn't pass a ane hour test on my kitchen table. I DJ with music videos in NYC, I use a new xiii" macbook I bought last year. I besides tested information technology on a 3 year old Sony Vaio. Virtual DJ 8 is worse than 7.4, which was very unstable on mac. see the post-obit issues: > When using the sampler for video (clip banks replacement), the sound slows downwards and starts to stutter. This is with all video sources, regardless of encoding or resolution. All in all Virtual DJ eight has less working features than seven.4, and seems less stable. They spent 3 years developing information technology, and apparently never tested it on a 13" Macbook. The cross platform label should exist removed since they clearly develop it for PC. I tried my best to be objective in this mail, but I am very annoyed and frustrated. I waited so long hoping for a stable, truly cross platform version of this plan, that had allot of great ideas, and instead we went from bad to worse. I am done with virtual DJ, I will be moving to unlike program.

cehlet So far this is the issues I accept meet on VDJ 8 on my mac when I change the Midi timing from automated to 1ms it puts out a horrendous crackling sound both over the headphones and the line out on my MIX Track PRO 2. Video's Seem to fault allot when attempting to load them. MIX TRACK PRO II takes multiple launches to option upward and piece of work despite all settings attempted to be modified. I had no bug with this Controller on VDJ previous versions. When I modify the Sync Command to Play_Sync_GetBPM information technology doesn't work catamenia. I take hearing problems and need this office to get me close to synced I tin fine tune the sync by ear afterward it gets me close. It crashes frequently later on the last update to VDJ 8. After I set a custom button regardless of setting gear up to show the sorcerer or not it still brings up the wizard and when I finally become it to end launching the sorcerer it loses the setting I made for the button. When I tell it to scan a new music folder for bpm'due south etc... it locks up and crashes. when I go back in it has lost all the settings I personalized. I love this program simply in that location is major bugs that demand to be worked out of it. Tried installing the final release on my Mac.
Installation procedure completed ("Success") just no new icon in Applications. Existing Pre-release was NOT updated wither.
Tried moving pre-release to Documents/Virtual DJ 8.app.bak, rebooting and installing once again, no new icon in Applications either.

firekraag Oh right. Misread "8.0.ane" instead of "viii.0.1785". I've been opening a new "About Wanted Features" thread hither.
Kinda disappointed though, I was expecting some fixes in the concluding release BUT I'grand all the same very happy about all the improvements over 7.4.

djsimonsez Now over double the cpu usage from 7.4.1 to v8. Slap-up!!! Normal CPU playing videos was 23%........At present 53%. Im on a mbp 13", 2012, Processor: i5 2.5, 16gb Ram and 2 ten SSD

MacBook Pro 13" (early 2011) running Mac OSX 10.ix.3 Is anyone experiencing a slight misalignment betwixt the graphic waves and the actual audio. When the beat is sounding completely in sync I find that the graphic vanquish overlay is slightly off (meaning the peaks exercise not perfectly align). I call up the right deck, if I retrieve correctly is slightly to the left. If someone can check it with simple house or techno with singled-out beats it should be adequately obvious. The other possibility is my centre - ear coordination is out of sink. Perchance I am processing the colour red more slowly :-) Cheers,

Yeah, my waves forms are moving at the speeds of 45s but the audio is like regular.... so disappointed...
love all the features, just need it Mac stable....

cehlet My Macbook Pro is Seizing upwards fully as a system under the full release especially when I try to record a set. Non happy at all with it not happy at all!

I take a question, how can I do to support Elevate & Drop?, I mean, in Virtual DJ 7 I could drag from the desktop or whatever binder files to a deck and Virtual DJ 8 am unable

Dan (djtouchdan) This result has been reported. There is zero you lot can practise to fix this. Hopefully in that location will be an update soon to fix this issue merely I don't know when or which update this volition be.
